Each coach brings a unique background, from professional playing careers to advanced collegiate coaching, united by a shared belief in developing intelligent, confident, and well-rounded players. Through a balance of technical precision, tactical understanding, and personal growth, our coaches guide every athlete to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
Coach Carroll
Originally from Liverpool, England, Coach Daniel Carroll brings decades of soccer experience and a lifelong passion for developing players of all levels. Daniel is a specialist in youth development, known for creating structured, high-touch sessions that emphasize control, awareness, and confidence in every movement.
Coach Carroll is the founder of PhiloSoccer Training and currently serves as the Head Coach of Washington Adventist University, where he has led the men’s soccer program for his fourth consecutive season. His approach combines elite playing and coaching experience with a commitment to long-term player growth.
Coach Batista
Born and raised in Brazil, Coach Batista combines Brazilian creativity with tactical precision. Before moving to the United States, he competed professionally in Brazil, gaining first-hand experience in competitive environments. He later played four years of college soccer in the U.S., connecting his South American style with American structure.
Coach Batista has trained NCAA Division I and professional athletes, focusing on technical improvement, ball control, and tactical awareness. His sessions emphasize confidence, intelligence, and player growth through consistent work and a positive mindset.
Coach Windell
Born in Jamaica, Coach Windell specializes in goalkeeper development and performance. Having competed at the college level in the United States, he understands the demands of both the player and the coach’s perspective. His training focuses on positioning, reaction time, and distribution, helping goalkeepers stay confident and composed in any match situation.
Coach Windell’s sessions build leaders from the back line. By combining technical drills with decision-making and mental resilience, he helps goalkeepers command their area, communicate effectively, and become the foundation of their teams.
